Looking Back At The Past

I apologize for disappearing all of a sudden, I have moved to a new house and I was very busy helping out in all the dirty work that needed to be done. After the new house was ready, I remembered that we needed to make a new phone connection and blah blah blah, I knew that it would take time, so I decided to write this post and save it on my PC until my next chance to go online..

Anyhow, I've been playing alot of games lately since I have nothing better to do, I've mastered "The Sims 2", "Call Of Duty 2" and "Fallout Tactics".. All this in only the past 2 weeks.. I also almost got the final "Fade To Black" solo correctly, but I still need to work more on it.. And after I got bored of playing games and guitar I started watching movies..

One of the movies that I watched was "The Last Samurai", I've watched it many times before, and everytime I watch it I notice new things in the movie, the way the movie explains the change that happened in Japan at the late 1800, when technology entered Japan for the first time.. It also explains how life was in Japan, how the Japanese people lived, it showed the way of the Japanese thinking.. You can notice that there is something very special about them, they had respect for everyone around them, from strangers or family members to even their enemy, they had the honor rule applied in a way that I have never seen before in any community or people, which shows how much these people had respect for themselves.. Even the air around them was very peaceful for the fact that Japan is indeed a wonderful country.. Everything they did in their lives had a meaning that reflected on themselves others, the woke up to start working on making their lives perfect, all together they lead an excellent way of living, as some of you might know it..
Until the Americans reached Japan and gave them the disease that we see everyday.. "Technology".. Technology spoiled Japan, the way they lives their lives was ruined, they knew that this would destroy their culture, and destroying their own culture would bring down Japan in everything I had mentioned above, but they really had no choice, they had to level up with the world, otherwise if Japan was left behind it will collapse infront of the other countries, so they made the deal and signed away their lives.. Talking about this Samurai story, I think that the way a samurai lived and thought is the main thing that attracts us to read about the culture of Japan, or even if we aren't readers some might watch Anime to learn about all this..

On the other side out of the movie, I thought what would we would normally think about these people, as soon as you try to show somebody the greatness of the Japanese culture, he/she would answer you by telling you that they will all go to hell as they are against god (rolls eyes).. Other than that I looked at my own culture, all I see is the worst, 2 families fighting for their camels or horses or whatever (Yes I bet you've read some of the history), how all the world points and says how easy it was to take advantage of us, unfortunatly these people who talk attack us have a good point, how we gave away our dignity for more land, money and limited happiness.. The problem is that things now aren't any better.. I look at these days, how there is no respect whatsoever, people have hate for each other in every corner, others show off with whatever they have that others can't buy, how we are only living depending on others, everything we do is against our beliefs and yet we say that we our hanging on tight to what we believe in! Others who had worked very hard to gain what we are buying from them in exchange for this oil that we "found" underground..
Looking at the youth of our countires, you look into the way they think, you won't be surprised if I told you that our future is fucked, who will save us later? As for an example when you see more than 60% of students in one country get school percentages just a bit above failing, and the problem is that they had reached that "bit above failing" with alot of help from the governments.. No body is ready to work, no one is ready to try hard to get what they want..
Most of what comes out of us is a failure in either leading a life or creating one, except for some very rare cases, all this will reflect on us later on.. You'll see.. But I suppose that all of this is part of the way life works and no body can change it..

I'm very sure that most of you people already know what I'm talking about since a very long time, I do admit that I haven't opened my eyes before.. Not until now..

I apologize if I talked over any limits insulting any reader, but I'm only writing the things that hit my mind.. And I am not considering my self as a person who complains alot by this post..

Have a nice day..

The First Try..

I woke up at 6:30, getting ready for my driving exam, it's my first exam so I thought it would be best if I looked good infront of the policeman (lol), so I shaved, took a shower and drank coffee.. My teacher arrived around 7:20, I drove around for a while until it was time to go take the test..
At 8, I reached Al-Qurum, my starting point was there, I looked around at the people, some have that sad look on their face, and some are happy, which would tell me who passed and who didn't.. Anyhow, my teacher left the car and went to find the dude that was supposed to test me, he came back after a while telling me that an officer called "Abbas" will be the one who will test me, I looked around and noticed that the policemen looked friendly, so there was nothing to worry about..

My teacher left, I looked around at the girls sitting on the grass (not bad lol), a guy came to my window and asked me, who's going to test you? I told him Abbas.. At that moment, the whole street went silent, cars stopped moving, people stopped crying, other stopped smiling and everybody was looking at me (lol).. The dude on my window asked me "Abbas?" I said "yeah what about him.?".. He asked me to go home as there is no way I'll pass.. I answered him telling him that I'd just take the test, fail if I had to, then go home.. He said "Fine, have it your way, but it would be a good idea to go over the pavement from here" and left.. People continued to move.. :-P

At last, Abbas arrived, he was this really fat dark police officer with a short beard, he looked more like a bulldog with that frown on his face, he was one huge son of a b*tch..
He sat next to me, shouted my name, I answered "yes correct" (jumping out of my chair..) He wrote some stuff on his paper, and asked me to drive..

I drove until the end of the road for less that 15 seconds, I was actually scared of him with that dog look on his face and my hands were shaking (lol)..

He asked me if it was possible to go straight, I said "yes and no"
more than 50 times (I was nervous) until I decided my answer was yes.. He said "Go ahead then".. I drove for a bit less than a minute, he told me to take a parking spot, and so I did, then he asked me to reverse and go back in the same road I was driving in.. I reversed, started moving in the road, when I noticed that the road was too narrow to be a two way road, that is when I figured out that I blew it.. lol He asked
me to go back where I started, and put my papers away.. lol

The whole thing was very short and it was a very bad experience..! So you want good advice? Screw your license, and if you didn't go by this advice, make sure you stay away from Abbas.. lol

The 24 Hour Fun

Featuring.. Solidus/Me
M987/Frozen Echo/Muhannad..

I slept yesterday at 12 PM in the morning, I was very tired from staying online all night, during my sleep, I remembered that I had a driving lesson at 3:30Pm, so I set the alarm on my phone and took a nice short nap..

The sound of my teacher woke me up shouting on the phone's speaker, he said that he's outside waiting for my lazy ass to get out.. I felt really dizzy, I didn't have enough sleep, 3:30 hours isn't enough for a person who stayed up all night.. I washed my face and went..

After almost doing 4000 accidents, I reached home safely, and wasn't as tired as before, I took a shower and went online even though I knew that I needed more sleep.. But who cares? :-P

I stayed online till 8 Pm, not feeling sleepy or dizzy, just a bit of fog in my head, I found Muhannad online, asked him if he could come over for a while, and so he agreed..
1 hour later, he was at my door, we went to Leewan to have some sheesha.. (Pic of the chicks who work there :-P)

We left around midnight, actually they gave us the bill and asked us to leave *roll eyes* (They were closing lol)

We went back home, Muhannad tried to contact his ride, but it was already too late and time had passed by fast without us noticing..
So I invited Muhannad to stay at my place..

We were online til 3 Am, I was starting to get dizzy again, I've been awake since 12 hours ago.. We decided to watch a movie, but come to think about it, we're out of chips.. lol So we said that it would be a good idea to walk to the gas station near Zakhir.. We also took some crazy photos on the way..

First photo was us screwin around, it was taken
infront of Al-Khuwair school in the middle of the street where the traffic lights are.. So now ya'll know which road we took..

Second one was..... Umm.... HEY!! What's that doing there? :-P LOL!

Anyhow, we got home with alot of chips, watched the movie "Kicking and Screaming".. It wasn't bad, but also wasn't the perfect movie for us to watch in that mood..

When the movie was the done, we went online again, as the fog in my head was getting heavier and heavier, but I didn't feel sleepy.. We found the people who had just woken up online and we had a little fun chatting and searching forums..

We stayed like this until 12 PM.. Yes, I've been awake since around 21 hours and even before that I didn't get enough sleep.. Anyhow, at 12, we were lucky to find a ride with my sister, we went around Shatti Al-Qurum, and had some fatning stuff at Cinnzeo's.. lol It was fun, even though we were both stoned..

So here is where it ends, we gave Muhannad a ride home at around 1:30 Pm, went to Zakhir for some short shopping, then home at 2:00 Pm.. My driving teacher called, said that he'll be there at 3:30, I tried to convince him to make it later, but he said that he couldn't.. So I had to stay awake staring into thin air, waiting for this guy to arrive.. At 3:30 Pm, I feel asleep.. lol And he called me to wake me up.. At that moment, I noticed that I've been awake since 24 hours.. I drove for one hour, and went back home for a very very long sleep.. And woke up at 5 am the next day (3 hours before writing this post)..

Nice eh? This is the result of what people called Fathiness.. lol
